diamond, gold and silver

From the land of the Bluenose...went on a swishing run to the far southern end of the province to one of those once a year spots that Andy Eh and I had done last year. Water was cold and the day overcast but a few folks were still on the beach. First recovery was part of a coin chain that had two 1930 10 cent Dutch coins on it which must have been from the other part of the chain I found last year. Nothing else save for a few coins at this location.

After an hour dig here fighting off the horse flies Pat and I headed to another spot which netted a small diamond ring and a nice blue sapphire ring. Sure was nice to have a double gold day!

I'm still looking for one of those

Yesterday, I had some great conditions at the beach but only managed one silver earring and a couple of junk stuff. Interesting haul though which included a Peruvian coin that looked like it came off a necklace of some sort. Also managed about 5 or 6 bucks in clad.

Great finds as usual Leslie!
