DFX Series E?

I am considering the purchase of a used DFX Series E. My question is what "Series E" denotes? Is it an older model in a production series? If so, how does it differ from a new DFX. Thanks in advance for any information.

The E series is the newest designation for a DFX. Rob

I bought a used DFX about one year ago. It is the best machine I have owned. You won't be sorry.

I have heard from a buddy of mine that he likes the White's XLT better than the DFX. Which is really better? Is it just that one them will talk to you and other one don't? Is the XLT easier to use? Which is preferred and which is less heavy? Would learn to hear the educated opinions around here. Thanks Also how does the MXT stack up?

I just bought two army folding shovels and was wondering what other supplies one really needs to be successful at M'dling. Can someone give a comprehensive list. Thanks.
