HEY, GUYS NEED SOME HELP ON THIS. I HAVE A NEW DFX IT IS HARD FOR ME TO SET UP AND GO WOUD A MXT WORK JUST AS GOOD? HES GOT A NEW MXT NOT USED WILL TRADE WHAT DO YOU THINK?

If you relic hunt I would get the Mxt but to be honest I would not get a whites no depth out in Calif. the F75 is a great machine one of the best!

I disagree, the Whites goes as deep in Calif (motherlode soil as I want to dig!(over a foot on coins in the right conditions)With the Super 12 coil especially.I had a hard time with the DFX too....M.X.T. all the way, learn it well!!!

I would stick with the DFX. I think because it does have many settings that you might just feel frustrated with it. Give it some time and put the hours in and you'll be rewarded. I think all of us at one time or another felt like not really using our new MD but once we really put the time in it became second nature and we're glad we stuck with it.
