DFX gets first gold of the year

Decided to take the DFX out beach hunting this Sunday. Haven't used her in over a year on the beach so I wanted to give her a spin.

Put it in Jewelry/Beach mode, upped the pre-amp gain to 3....no other changes. Used the stock 9.5 coil.

They say where there are nickels and sinkers, there is gold.

I would say only 3-4 inches down. It's a pretty small ring...looks bigger in the picture.
