DFX First day at the beach

:detecting:Well I got my new DFX out for the first time yesterday we went to the beach for about two hours near Ventura California. I was Amazed in the first three swings up comes a newer penny. By the end of the two hours I had found 1 small car; one newer dime; five penny's; two spoons one of them silver plated;a chunk of metal looks to be aluminum from some other planet lol. Also found a small silver ring with a amethyst stone. The DFX was using the preset program for the beach worked very well the depth was right on:whites:
 
If you find out what that piece of medal is let me know. I have a large piece just like it. Havent found anyone who can tell me what it is. Some said it was magnanite which was produced deep under water. Others said it might be platinum. I know what it isnt aluminum or silver.

Way to go. This is truly a big deal. Finding any kind of ring your first time out is absolutely outstanding.
