I found these coins and buttons at a house that was built around 1840. I was using the stock relic mode. I had hunted this place before with a different detector with not much luck. There is an 18940 Barber Quarter, I.H.'s 1875, 1892, 1895.An 18? V Nickel. The buttons are an Eagle I believe (not sure) It says on the back (Horstman, Philadelphia) The other button says (FINE GOLD SURFACE warranted) I don't see any gold on the surface LOL. I am going to try and post the pics. This is my 1st post and would like to get these up, so if I fail someone please help me out. The White's DFX Rocks!!!

I forgot to mention you can still read LIBERTY on the head of the Barber. It is in great shape! Also all coins were found between 5 to 6.5 inches

Try Tone ID in the Relic mode, that's how I do most of my hunting. You will get used to it and you don't have to look at your display too often, just when you hear that sweet high tone! Ron

I live in Mason Co. W.Va. Right on the Ohio river. I will try the Tone ID in the relic along with bumping up the ac.
