DFX Big Foot on the "V"

Can I use a DFX Big Foot on my Vision??? Thanks , Mic

Thanks C O C s

My Bigfoot works, even with TX Boost on, but the 22.5kHz VDI's are skewed quite a bit high. This means that low-conductive targets will have a high VDI; ferinstance, a nickel came in at 60. But with V, you can create a program for the Bigfoot, and customize the disc, tones, and icons to match the coil.

My Bigfoot seems it can not handle the 22.5KHZ all that good....... in the one frequency only (22.5 KHZ with Norm on) I'M getting some very Strange VDI's like -97 on a heavy set 1 Karat Diamond Ring? ..........The 3 Frequency beat data works fine Though.

Hi Carl,

Gets even stranger. In 22.5 kHz mode many coins go negative VDI on my Bigfoot. They skew so high they wrap into iron readings. As you note this can be compensated for. But I've actually been trying to figure out how it could work to my advantage. I'm after gold range so high coin going iron is ok as far as I am concerned.

I've never seen a coil itself making such a change in target readings while still actually working fine. Very interesting. You could wind a coil for specific results.

On the Bigfoot, everything at 22.5k is shifted high, so high conductors are wrapping around to iron. But since silver coins hit harder on 2.5k, the 3F VDI still reads right for them. And the low conductors (gold) that hit hard on 22.5k are reading high VDIs. This may be a useful side effect, or maybe not.
