DFX all metal program anyone?

coinnut

New member
Just looking to see if anyone has stumbled on to a good program for the dfx using a small coil in all metal mode (or mixed mode). I can't seem to get one to work deep for me with great separation. And I'm not at all good with the mixed mode. Any where I can visit to get lessons or instructions. I'll try anyone's program and advice. Thanks!!

I've got one posted in the DFX Forum that I consider to be pretty good, its Mixed Mode, runs single 15khz, Dual tone so the junk has a low grunt and the good stuff has a sweet High tone, pretty simple to run....dig the high tones. This setup is the deepest I could get the DFX to go, Mixed Mode and single 15khz being key.

Go to DFX Personal User Settings, its listed in Red as:

New Program from DVE Va (10-28-2005)

Try it out and ask any questions,
Good Luck,
Dave

Hey Dave, Thanks and I'll try it and let you know. Have nothing better to do since it's freezing up here!!! Won't be able to try it outside until mid March at best. It might work better in VA than in MA since I think our mineralization is quite high. Did you ever do anything with checking the ground phase numbers? It is supposed to tell you how hot the ground is.
