DFX 4x6 DD for beach?

Would the 4x6 DD be a good choice for beach hunting in not too trashy sand or stick with the super 12 (already have)?

The 4x6 is for trashy areas. On the not trashy beach you want coverage and depth. A bigger coil would be better. The 6x10 or 1400 in a DD or the 12" in a concentric coil. Rob

If it is not trashy the bigger the better I think why?
Heres why:

More ground covered per sweep
deeper then a tiny coil

Look at the Detech coils to.

I have to agree. I have all the White's available coils for the MXT except for the 14"DD. The 4X6 is SUPERB in heavy trash, but if the beach isn't too trashy one of the larger coils is desirable. The 6X10 does a good job of coverage, yet slips thru the trash better than the 9.5 or 12". It's become my favorite coil except when trashy conditions call for one of the smaller.

For beach hunting, the Bigfoot is hard to beat if you are not looking for targets deeper than 8 inches. Lightweight, great coverage and DD configuration. We use them on sports fields too.
