DFX 300 or garrett AT PRO

before i bought my dfx i was swinging the whites classic idx and i loved that thing . the targer recovery was great then i sold that to buy the dfx and i noticed the recover wasnt the same as the analog classic idx. so then i bought the ace 250 it was an ok machine but again the recovery target was to slow compared the idx so now i am wanting to try out the at pro looks like a cool unit , i live next to the beach so i would be using it aloot in the water. I just posted my dfx on ebay . well do you swing the dfx?

The recovery speed is adjustable on the DFX.

Recovery Speed adjustments are from 1 to 40 in the Pro Adjustments - Discrimination section. So, you can set the recovery speed to a more desirable speed than the factory default setting if it helps you. Especially in trashier areas.

I would keep the DFX because of its versatility and get the ATPro for the water if you can afford both....JMHO.

Whatever you decide, best of luck and Happy Hunting!

Jim
