With all the sand I saw on those beaches in Ma. & NH. its going to take more than one storm. I've been hunting beaches from Ct. to Me. for 15 years. I never knew these forums were here. they seem to be full of interesting stories, and pics of some nice finds.

I started in the 80's and have been hunting beaches hard since 1997.So I bet we have passed each other on the beach one time or the other.whats your best find in 15years??

Maybe, but I wouldn't count on it.The sand on most northern beaches is quite deep.and for the most part it takes 3 tide cycles and most important a very short wave period. I seemed to have my best luck on the RI. and CT. beaches and Cape Cod bay. Best find 1 ct.diamond plat. engagement ring.

I've hit Hampton and rye but not impressed, lots of clad not much gold compared to southern NE. Ihave done well between Kennebunkport and Old Orchard beaches.

for fresh drops too much new sand on beach to waste time there in winter.Summer there has been good!!Rye after the right storm has been very good.Salisbury is great after a good storm...even some not so big ones.A few really hot spots south of there too...for old silver.
