:jump:well it finally got cold enough for my blue ribbon texas chili.38 degrees and sheeting rain!make a coyote sit up and howl!maybe a little beep in the morning for sure.nothing like a big bowl of screaming coyote chili, yahoooooo!with a pan of homemade cornbread or home made flour tortillas,yahoooooo!you have to be 100% mucho hombre to eat this chili.:sleepy:and now i lay me down to sleep,so good night sweetfolks,may the lord give us another day tommorow.like old roy use to say"happy trails to you until we meet again".
 
...It is REALLY starting to come back and haunt me-BIG TIME....World-class indigestion-among other things...:shrug:Gettin older;I guess...
 
Of course if you think 38 is cold, come on up here buddy! :lol:
 
Mine was called "Meet your Maker Chili". :lol: I love hot stuff. I've got a bunch of hot sauces (real stuff, not the whimpy store bought stuff) in the fridge, from flavorful and spicey to downright dangerous habenero extracts. Whoo hoo!
 
those habenero makes your toe-nails curl!!!!!i like my chili -hot, but where you can still taste the other spices.habeneros are the hottest peppers made!!!!you can make chili too hot and not be able to taste nothing else,thats why i make it to taste.i have won one blue ribbon for one chili -cook -off,chili always tastes the best on the second day made,it stews with all the spices over night.:look:
