As far as interfernece from outside sources (EMI), the consenus is that the Deus does a great job in terms of not being affected by EMI. Between the unit itself and the ability to shift the frequency a tad if you need it in the field for a specific site, you should not have any issues with power lines and the line (or pinpoint probes).
What detector have you been using and has that caused you issues as a result of EMI?
