Nice Deus video, keep up the good work.:detecting:

The whole coil and wand is submersible right? You just cant get the phones or the controls wet right? I read the owners manual off of Andys site, and thats what it sort of says in a round about way. Just wondering if the coil is able to transmit the signal through 4' of water. wading with the thing, or if it has a depth limit of a couple of feet?...

I'm liking it allot. I find the G maxx program hits deep and hard on all relics and coins . Plus its so easy to use. One thing I have never seen is a non motion disc mode that you can use to check a deep target. Got three deep good targets then checked them in non motion disc mode at the factory setting. Perfect three for three. On another note. Clean up takes just a minute and you can fold it up for the next hunt. From owning a Gold maxx I knew the quality was there. If XP will listen to their US distributors and hard core hunters like myself I can see software updates down the road for the US market. If you watch the youtube videos from the UK and other countries you will see people want the very low conductive hammered coins. Our cut Spanish reales and cobs come in much higher on the conductive scale and are easy to find in the 12khz or 8 kHz setting. You also find their targets very shallow. Not to worry on depth. The Deus digs deep.

Coil and stem is waterproof, remote and headphones are not. You need to tape a antenna wire near the coil to make the Deus coil work underwater, like this:

Yes coil is waterproof and control box and headphones water resistant.

Is that antenna wire long enough to use in chest deep water?

The antenna in the picture seems to be as long as the stem is.

I think you can make the antenna wire as long as you want, if you can somehow get the antenna near the remote. If you attach the antenna to the stem and put the remote in a waterpoof case, i think you can atleast able to shallow wade with the Deus.
