Deus alternative WS headphones?

Hello, finally managed to buy myself a Deus but since it's very expensive I was only able to get the remote control with 11" coil without the wireless headphones.
Is there any alternative wireless headphones to pair with the remote that works good?
While i truly believe that ws4 or ws5 would be the best, I don't really care to have a second detector in my headphones, I'm not willing to pay 3/400 bucks for headphones.

The volume control is a must but I could survive without any additional control in my headphones and just use the remote but no wires would be super.

I am looking for a cheaper alternative if it exists.
I've read that I could connect WS headphones using the stereo connector (for example deteknix ws headphones) but I've also read these doesn't works good on Deus (muffled sound and delay)

*now I using wired headphones and I like the control box to be attached to the shaft, but theres is no much space between my hand and the headphones connector so I hit the jack all the time (disturbing and dangerous)

Any alternative solution?

Thanks!

I think you're pretty stuck without the WS4 controller to being wired in somehow:sad:
I have tried both the Rapoo and Deteknix wireless headphones and the sounds were disappointing with both and both have to be installed in the bottom port of the controller which conflict with the hand if you want to mount it on the shaft , even if you use a 90 degree plugged cord. What you might try is buying the "leather" remote carrier for your belt that folds down that XP sells and experiment with places to carry it that allow you to use some lightweight earphones; I would highly recommend the wired backphones XP sells in that configuration and they are already 90 degree with an inline volume control. The other possibility would be to purchase the waterproofing kit and use the provided case with the controller inside and the same headphones plugged into it. There was a thread here a while back about an acrya cellphone case with a silicone face that you could also use if you glue the mounting bracket to the back and then you could mount that on the shaft, but you would be attached to the Deus again.

The belt carrier is the cheapest solution...or plug your headphones into the controller and put it in your pocket :)

It folds down; http://www.metaldetector.com/xp-deus-hip-mount-case-for-remote-control

Thanks for all the answers, i ended up by purchasing the wired xp headphones (sound is very good for 15€) but looks fragile.

I have the leather remote carrier (it was inside the box) but i prefer to see the detector screen!

The headphones jack position is horrible, now with the angle connector is little better but i always fear to touch it too much with my hand..

Is possible to take off the rubber that cover the usb and the headphnones without opening the control box? sorry for so many questions but this is my first Deus (and i hope it will last years)

Thanks!!!

I agree the port for the headphone is in a terrible spot which I imagine has something to do with weatherproofing and the idea that most won't use it. I don't know about the rubber cover and wouldn't try to pull it out or you may play hell getting it back in without opening the case. There may be a male headphone jack that is 90 degree and a lower profile you can find or you might be able to make an adapter for the controller mounting plug that fits into the shaft that will move it up a bit to clear the hand , however that plug is always going to be hanging down by the hand.

Find something valuable detecting you can sell and buy the WS4 ....you won't regret it!!

Imo XP should make a wireless headphone without a detector inside, just headphones like the ws1 for example.

Today first day out with my Deus :)

Thanks

Vance headphones are great !
