Detector to complement the etrac

No detector is perfect, not even the etrac. So I'm wondering what detector do you think would complement the etrac in the field? Maybe something that separates a little better or sweeps a little faster? I hunt mainly old homesites and fields. Not much of a beach hunter.

Take a look at the F75 LTD !!!

I know Terry(Goes4ever) just bought a Tesoro compadre and I believe he is very happy with it. I believe they cost less than $200.00 dollars and are suppose to be very good in the iron. I have a Tesoro Tiger shark for water hunting and very happy with it. Good luck and HH.

Buy a used tesoro cibola and make the GB mod all for under $300. Look on youtube for "cibola separation" and "tuned cibola".

It depends on the depth of soil you search and your budget . I use the Deus along with the ET and have just got the 11in coil too.

I love my White's MXT pro. I've found everything from an1854 Canadian large cent 11" down to gold rings 1" down. I love it with my SEF 6x8 coil and my 13" Ultimate coil. The 12" concentric I really do not like at all. It is a real good coin shooter for sure.

There could be lots of ATPro and Golds showing up this Winter after the "diggers disillusionment" sets in , either of those could fill the bill.
MXT pro could fill the bill as well.
If your hunting by tone and like the discrimination values you get from your etrac with the tones, numbers and screen positions , you might also look for used a DFX with the spectragraph. I sold one and got a F75ltd and have regretted it ever since as my dirt reduces the 75 to a F2. The DFX was much more versatile.

I use a Sovereign Elite now, and on the beach I believe it is unbeatable, it will be the complementing MD in my arsenal to the E-Trac (once I GET my E-Trac). I hunt by sound only now and rarely discriminate anything out with the machine's controls but I also only dirtfish maybe 10 times a year right now. The E-Trac's ability to tailor the discrimination is what really drew me to it, but it has so much else going for it that sold me on it. Hopefully, once I get it I can become a dirtfishin', coin shootin' machine.....

OK, maybe just a dirtfishin' coinshooter...

Every Minelab I have owned from the XS on up has been paired with a high end White's ......... super combination. Everyone elses suggestions are good as well, it just depends what your needs are and what fits the bill for you.

I have heard White's units have always been pretty complimentary.
Good to their mothers, too!

I have the F75 to go along with the Etrac, Hard to beat the Fishers/Teks in the iron. Maybe a Dues or DVG,or MXT.

I have a MXT Pro and an Etrac. The MXT Pro has not seen daylight. Hope my daughter takes to it. I am working on an AT Pro. I want it to work creeks and swimming areas since it is waterproof. Read a lot of good things about it.

You revived a great range of responses and they are probably very valid. Another thing you can do is go on thee trac forum and see what detector the real e track users indicate they are using. I have a CTX 3030 which is similar to Anne track and I use an AT PRO AS MY BACKUP for parks, sports fields and median strips. I have over 2000 hours on pro and it has served me well.
