Being in the market for a new machine, and looking in every nook and cranny to find dealers, I have to wonder if manufacturers ever relax their minimum advertised prices? When looking for model X made by manufacturer Y, the lowest price one can find is always the same, to the penny, regardless of who is selling it. Of course, there are the few who try to sell it for more, but we can disregard them.
Virtually all the big names do this, and I'm not complaining, mind you. That philosophy makes it fair all the way around, and protects the small guy. Not to mention it protects a product's image and reputation.
More or less, I'm wondering if manufacturers permit "sales" sometimes.
Just wondering.....
