Detector powered vehicles.

I've Haven't been able to get out too often over the last couple of years as most of the productive detecting spots seem to have either dried up or had high fences put around them. However, I've been looking at possible detector powered motor vehicles recently; most notably motor scooters. It's amazing the fuel economy of these little machines. I might still be restricted on range due to the missus showing interest in 2 wheeled transport which will result in a smaller capacity scooter first up. It should still allow me to get to nearby towns, as few as they are, but at least it will be opportunity to get out more often. If I'm able, I may be able get get something of big enough capacity, that further richer pickings can be reached. It's just not real viable in a car, due to distance, but with some of these babies able to get from 30kms to 50 kms per litre, the possibilities really do open up!

I have thought of this also, but have nowhere to put the scotter overnight, that the local hoolams would not be trying to syphon the gas, or steal it...
