New member
i went in this back yard and 6'' down all coal.. why is the detector picking it up? i thought coal was a Nonmetallic minerals

Coal is a mineral, individual chunks would be called hot rocks and a lot of it is considered very mineralized ground.

what i did was discrimanated the coal from my MD but when i went in with my pro point it was a pain..

One of the older parks around here has large chunks of coal looking stuff here and there, also the little bits and pieces are a pia witht the pinpointer.
