Detector Man, here is a picture of house taken with a DSLR camera............

This old house is located in a small town East of San Antonio and was taken with an older Sony A300 DSLR camera using an old vintage (1985) Minolta 28-85mm lens. Settings were: F8, 1/400 sec., ISO 100, Manual Mode. Editing was done with Corel PaintShop Pro X4. There was no sharpening done to the picture, and I used a Histogram as an aid to correct exposure and when editing the picture. I decided to finish the picture in Sepia instead of color. Very sharp picture and very well composed i might add...nice....i like the sepia...it gives it a vintage look to it...
ive learned that some cameras have built-in filters...does your Sony have that feature? mine does not

This picture was taken about a year or so ago using a Canon SX10is bridge camera. I took the picture in the Auto Mode, and this picture should show that a bridge camera can produce a good picture. The disadvantage of this camera is problems in taking pictures in low light situations, difficult to focus and etc. The flexibility of a DSLR would be better suited. Note: this picture was posted on this Forum at an earlier date. Kelley (Texas) :)
