Detector Maintenance Reminder - Clean Your Rod! :surprised:

Terry Soloman

New member
Be Sure to take your detector rods apart and lube and clean them REGULARLY beach hunters. I waited 35-hours this time, and it was too long! Really had to work to get my lower rod off and cleaned. Thought it was frozen for sure. Just a heads-up from a procrastinator!

They will sure bind together if you don't

BCOOP

Silicon grease on the shaft helps. Use it before you hunt to aid shaft movement, no residues that build up like WD40
