My brother in law and I took a road trip today to the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Didn't get to see even half of it but it was still really awesome. They have a lot of nicely restored aircraft including a couple of my favorites, the P-51 Mustang and the P-38 Lightning. Sorrry to be so off topic, but it really is a nice days outing. Besides, it rained last night and had storms movng in this afternoon, so it's pretty wet in most places. I'll try to stay on topic from now on.

Back about 1963, when I was 16 years old, I bought a model flying P51. It had a very long cord and it would fly in circles, it had a real one piston engine that you had to prime and flip the prop several times before it started. Sure wish I still had that model, might be worth something today. HH John

I promised to stay on topic Orion, but since you asked, of course I took pictures. First, a B25 Mitchell bomber (which is not nearly as big as you would think), A P51 Mustang and lastly, a P38 Lightning. I always liked the Lightning because in about 1940 and 1941 my Dad was making the engines for them. And of course the Mustang is a work of art and a real classic. Hope you enjoy....now back to our regularly scheduled program.....................
