detector choice?

Hi Folks I live in central n.h.and was thinking of the choice of the tejon or vaquero of the two machines will either work better in the soil makeup of my area

yes i've had them both and i'm from western maine if your relic hunter go with the tejon if your after coins go with the vaquero for sure and the 5"75 coil plus the frequencies are different to the vaq runs at 14.3 .5 and .7 khz thats with the shift mode and tejon runs at 17.2 i thinkboth great machines but i prefered my my vaq though!
 
I owned the Tejon and loved it but we have mostly mild soil here in Michigan.
I dug lots of deep coins with it. I used it primarily for coins and rings and it was great for both.

I'm sure the V is also good. But even Tesoro says the Tejon is deeper.
 
I have used the Tejon and Vaquero here in MA, VT, CT and NH and have had no problems. Either detector should treat you fine.
