Detector and pin pointer question

D&P-OR

Well-known member
Does the Minelab Pro Find 25 pin pointer "cross talk" (have interference with) the Whites MXT Pro or M6 detectors?-----I used a Garrett Pro Pointer with a MXT Pro for awhile & the cross talk was terrible.---The worst I have had with any detector using that pin pointer (Garrett Pro Pointer).---The frequencies of the MXT & Pro Pointer isn't exactly the same but boy the interference was bad, no matter what settings I used on the MXT.----Any Pro Find 25/MXT Pro or M6 users out there?----If so, how ya doin with it on those detectors?

Yes The Minelab dose the same thing with the MXT. I hope that Whites puts there out soon, I use the older ones, but want a new one like the Garrets or Minelab.

Yea, me to. I sold my Garrett's and got the Minelab, and it did the same. That is why i hope that Whites come out with a good one like the other two, and don,t interfere with there detectors. Flintstone

That's interesting. I hunt frequently with a fellow who uses a MXT with the 9.5 concentric and he has no problem with the Garrett but my e-trac walks on him if we get to close. He talked a buddy of his into buying an MXT also and they have to stay 30' or so apart. I have no idea where he runs his gain but never heard him complain about interference from the pinpointer Could it be just with the Pro?
