Started MDing in March of this year. So I think this is a pretty good start to a great hobby...

37 rings ( 10 silver)
10 chains (1 gold, 7 silver)
2 anklets (silver)
38 pendents (1 gold, 10 silver)

13 braclets (2 silver)
3 pocket knives
13 boyscout neckslides
6 dog tags
1 great seal button

stop count on clad at 300 in august
2 kennedys
3 susan B's
3 sacks
3 president dollars
4 silver dimes
19 wheats
30 tokens
13 foriegns
5 soviner smashed pennies
Alot of misc...( buttons, keys, bullets,etc.)
lost count on hot wheels as my son gets them all.
In the last pic, never mind the Capt Kirk coin, wasnt a find.
Cant wait to see what 2009 brings. HH all and Happy new Year.
 
HOLY SAMOLIANS! That is great! You have really done well and it's all so very organized, too.

I should try that. I just dump all my stuff in a box. In fact, this will be the first year I am actually going to count my total and segregate the stuff.

What detector(s) did you use? And where did you get those cool display cases?
 
yes i am pleased for my first year at this hobby. I use the Fisher F2. The display cases were givin to me by my dad who whole heartedly supports me in this hobby as he is a treasure hunter to.

I dont even know of any around here but I get that alot when i show off my finds to friends/family. I just hunt schools and parks, :detecting: oh and may i add. I surface hunt, which is i dont dig more then 4 inches max. so if all this can be found that shallow just think what lies under it all.
