This morning I was off work and she was too so we headed out looking for a spot to dig, we found another grassy lot with some trees and a well on it, asked the farmer permission, he said the house was tore down many yrs ago, but the front yard was not disturbed so to have at it.
I scored a 1951 rosie to get things rolling, then Mrs G4E got her 1st ever yard indian, 1903. I was proud of her, because this lot was super ironed up and it was fairly deep. All her other indians have been in fields (this spring) and were fairly shallow, that takes her to 10 indians this season. She then got a 3 wheat spill, 1912, 1913, and 1919.
I scored a 1905 indian, then got the gold plated cufflink, sure had me going when it came out of the ground, sure looked like shiny real gold to me!
