Detecting was good, finding was bad

Today I was hunting a church playground again, when the grounds keeper showed up and turned on the sprinklers. I was not doing that well anyway compared to yesterday. I had only found a little clad, a snoopy pin, 2 junk rings, and a gold ear ring or button. HH Dennis in Idaho

I was using the 8" DD Excelerator, which I have found to be an excellent coil. The only diffrence between it and your new 6", other than the size, is that it is heavier, thicker and goes deeper. I am still evaluating this coil for JW, and so far it is proving its worth. HH Dennis in Idaho

Dennis any gold is good. I've got both the 8"excelerator and the 6 x 10 Whites. I've found a lot with both. I've only got 1 dime buried that they both read as 8" deep. The audio is very good for both and they both read in the hidher 80's for the VDI. I'd need deeper coins to tell which has the advantage. I'd like to have your comparison of the two. Rob

You can't sneeze at those finds. Looks like you had a pretty darn good day!
