:detecting:Thanks For Making This The Greatest Forum

The X-Terra Forum is hands down the greatest forum on this site. I see no others that have the FAGFAG.

Special Thanks to Barnacle Bill and Digger. They have really went way beyond to bring us the info and tech support to make this forum the best.

I have been here less then a week. And already have settled on an X-70 which I picked up very slightly used (less then an hour) from Chris from Missouri .

I am now watching the video on the FAGFAG. I may be new ... but I will hit the ground running due to the help from this forum ....

Thanks

Dave

Without the time & effort put in by some really talented & experienced detectoristas there would be no FAQ. They laid a foundation early on that made the compilation possible. Without them and the continued contributions of all the members none of this would be as good as it is.

Welcome to the forum and keep in mind that questions and contributions from newcomers keep things rolling. So I invite you and any other newcomers to step forward and ask questions and pose observations. As an example, there has been almost no discussion of the use of the new small coils on the X30 & X50.

There is a small issue with the FAQ at the moment of some of the older posts having broken links on the graphics. This may be a matter of the software archiving & compressing graphics to to save space on the server, it is being looked into at the moment and hopefully it will be returned to full health soon.

Even though the X-terras for the most part are user friendly a tip of the hat to those that contributed to the FAQFAQ as indeed gives a new owner a running start. Unlike many other forums seems like the majority are willing to share and certainly help when a member has a question. Keep up the good work guys and gals...Although I have been detecting for years and used many units I found the FAQFAQ interesting reading...Nothing like time in the field, but a general knowledge of the units sure helps before we venture out...

Your right !!! We have if not the best..One of the best Forums. Though in all fairness I use several machines and the other forums are "Prettty Darn Good"
Lots of nice people who go out of their way to help all who needs help. Many of the same forum people on others..

thanks to all who have visited the X-Terra forum during the past two years. Without people posting their questions, answers, comments or experiences, this forum wouldn't exist. And, with your ongoing participation, this forum will continue to grow and get better each day.
I think what makes me most proud of this forum is the respect that each of you show toward one another, and the unselfishness in which information is shared. We come from all corners of the world and do all kinds of detecting. Although we may not always agree with another's opinion, everyone who is seriously interested in promoting this hobby takes the high road in their response. And we can all be proud of that!

Thanks for your kind words. HH Randy

I really enjoy this site. When I bought my X-70 I read the faqfaq severial times and watched the videos. I still carry VID chart in my wallet when hunting. Some very good info, and people on here. Thanks for the effort from another newb, Beale.
