Here are 2 simple mods you can do in no time. First for my XL PRO i needed to keep the control knobs from 'drifting" where i set them so i used a small rubber band
(hair rubber bands or rubber bands for braces) to provide more resistance than o-ring at knob. Because as you know setting sig.balance and tuner control are to be as precise as you can set them,this will "hold " position much eaiser.

Of course,This can be done to other detector models.



The second mod is a simple sling harness you can build. I used a strap from a laptop case,but but you can use guitar strap also.
the rubber rings are Hair (ponytail) bands. using this will help keep your detector scratch free. ENJOY :twodetecting:
