detecting in snow

I'm new to MDing and I'm wondering if you can detect thru the snow with accuracy or if you can at all ?
I have a new XLT {Whites} and the ground is not frozen yet.

Works great, even kick the ice outa frozen puddles, works good and a lotta fun, with your outfit, just do it like you always do, Happy hunting, and have a good time

The farther a way from the ground your coil is the less targets you will detect. 4In. of snow decreases your depth 4in.
