It's been a good year. The rings were found with the ACE 250, Scorpion Stinger, GTI 2500 & Infinium. The majority were found on dry land.

Yeah, it does look like a good year for year. Hope this year is even better buddy.

I hoard them, and my wife, sons and daughters take the better ones. I might sell them when I retire on Ebay.

Not that you need advice from me but here goes: Keep everything if you can afford to. I am one who was surprised to see the price of gold go as high as it has. Until you sell the gold it has no value in the eyes of the IRS. If you keep them, your finds, you can always look at them and attach a memory to it. I only wish my family could have held onto some of the rings my wife and I found while stationed in Hawaii. We can still look back and remember some of the good times but it would have far more meaning if we could hold them in our hands. We were blessed to discover mding and it supplemented our income as we had 6 children and tried to live off of a SSgt's pay while living in Hawaii. The mding was something we were able to do without getting in the way of my Marine Corps duties and the finding was goooooood. You are blessed as well and I hope others learn from your example of holding onto your finds. Best to all this year, Mike.

Nice story...I have 4 kids, I too never had much money. I remember when the kids were young, how we used to spit the coins I found with the kids so they could buy Christmas presents. Great memories and a lot of wisdom gained. :)
