:detecting: For those that can't seem to make the iron audio work for them .:detecting:

That means your probably using it wrong. I know in the beginning I ran it wrong myself. So here it is in layman's terms. If your running all metal and suspect a bottle cap, nail etc. Then you activate the iron audio - it's not going to work right. Why? Because in all metal your iron disc is set at zero. When you activate the iron audio ALL iron is mid tone. Then you'll say - sounds good to me let's dig. To get the iron audio to work you have to run some kind of iron disc.
I haven't found any tiny gold that read below #40. But to be on the safe side I run Pro mode iron disc at #35. Then accept all other targets. You can just make a custom program or alter the all metal mode. Either way it's the same. Now run with the iron audio ON. Why run iron audio on all the time? Because iron audio is more enhanced than with it off. This way on a suspected bottle cap it's already grunting at you without messing with pressing the button.
If your having trouble with figuring out the iron audio. Just set it up and try it this way for a hunt or two. Some say the iron audio is too busy. But I find it a pleasant voice saying - hey I'm on and working.

I know this is nothing the advanced users don't already know. But for new users or the hunters like me that couldn't get their head around this iron audio thing -it may help you?

Great explanation. It took me awhile to figure it out too. The iron audio seems to be even a little better when using the 6x9 concentric. It could just be me though.

When I first got the ATpro I ran it in all metal. I activated the iron audio and - nothing! User error...

I will post a video later when I have time. I went out today and used the iron audio at a place loaded with nails. Wether I had is setup right or not I don't know but it worked for me.....;o)

I have tried all sorts of combinations. I finally decided Pro mode, iron disc 35, iron audio on was the best for me. It's your choice as of what high conductors you want to accept. I usually start out accepting everything above iron. But will get lazy and disc out the tabs when my time is running out. Been digging a lot of .22 casings at #45. I know that's where the gold is hiding but still getting tired of the casings!

Now remember I'm not very smart. So when you use them thair werds like "wassing" I ain't got no clu whatcha talkin bout?

I asked my wife what "wassing" meant? She slapped the crap out me for a dirty mouth. Maybe you could explain it to me?

Kenny can't find it in the dictionary! Only time i heard that word is in like UP THE WASSING mybe that is why the wife slapped you!

I tried the dictionary and wikipedia. Nothing. Maybe it's a word you heard in the wind? Maybe something you heard after a large Mexican dinner? I don't know? My answer is "yes"
