WELL, FIRST I WANT TO START THIS OFF WITH THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE POSTED ABOUT THE CZ5, PRESENT AND PAST,
AS I READ ALL NEW, AND HAVE GONE BACK SEVERAL YEARS AND READ POSTS WHEN THIS MD WAS NEW. BUT SPECIAL
THANKS TO TVR AND DAN-PA FOR THEIR REPLIES AND ADVISE. BEEN USING THE CZ5 FOR APRROX. A MONTH, AND IT IS
STILL A LEARNING CURVE FOR SURE, BUT IT IS REALLY TURNING OUT TO BE A COIN SHOOTER FOR ME! NOTHING REALLY
SPECIAL YET, BUT HERE ARE SOME RESULTS. 383 COINS TOTAL, 47 WBs,1 BUFF, 3 MERC, 2 ROSIEs, 216 LINCOLNS, AND
THE REMAINING MIXED CLAD OF ALL. AND YES, A "LOT" OF JUNK, AND SOME MISC ITEMS OF INTEREST, NOTHING VALUABLE
EXCEPT TO ME, AS I DUG IT UP!

RUNNING DISCRIM AT "0", USING THE TONES AND METER, SOMETIMES SWITCHING TO "4" TO CONFIRM IF IN DOUBT. NOT BEING
FOOLED BY NAILS SO MUCH NOW, BUT THE SCREW ON ALUM. CAPS ARE A REAL BUGGER TO DEAL WITH, THEY SEEM TO
RING IN BETWEEN A NICKLE AND COIN, DEPENDING ON IF THE VINYL COATING IS STILL ON THE CAP. RUNNING SENS AT 5 TO
6, VOL AT 5, GROUND BAL AT 5 (STILL NEED TO LEARN HOW TO GROUND BALANCE BETTER). I HAVE LEARNED TO SLOW DOWN,
AND NOW I'M WORKING THE AREAS HARDER WHEN I HAVE GOOD TARGETS, LISTENING AND DIGGING FOR THE GOOD ALONG
WITH, AND UNDER THE JUNK. WELL THIS IS LONG ENOUGH, JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW, THAT THE POSTS AND
REPLIES THEY SEND, MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO ME AND OTHERS.

AND LEAST I FORGET, AND HAVE TO WALK THE PLANK, THANKS TO CAPTAIN HOOK FOR ALL THE SAILING INTO NEW LANDS!

Relative those screwcaps they usually cover a lot more area....just a matter of experience and you will learn how to spot them. Unfortunately they are bent ..crushed, whole which makes a difference..All a matter of preference but myself accepting iron makes the unit awful noisy but again whatever works...Heck used CZ's since 92 and now and then learn a little more so keep up the good work and once you learn how to spot those nasty deep rusty nails you are on your way....

Very nice post. You are doing very good in your new adventure!
