New member
Hello,
I am new to the forum, thank you for any help, I am getting a X-Terra 705 dual pack, and my wife and I have a vacation planed for the Island of Roratonga ,my question is does any one know of any restriction for detecting there? And is it difficult to travel with a metal detector?
Thanks again

Welcome to the forum. I do not know anything about the island or traveling with a detector though. I hope you find lots of good stuff though.

From what I googled. you can MD on Rarotonga ...Google "can I metal detect in rarotonga", you will have to declare it to customs when you get there
The beaches sure look nice, you might do well on the beach with the 705, but from what I read you will wish you had a water detector.
I've never flown with a MD, You can break it down to were it is travel ready...good luck
