Have you ever found buried treasure??? Like a mason jar filled with pennies, or a roll or rolls of coins, or ever found anything hidden a wall or attic??? When ever I do some drywall I always put a clad 50c piece in the wall. Maybe you found one of them??? Let us know what buried or hidden treasure you found, and thanks for looking...

Most of what is found while MD is lost stuff (i.e. fell out of pockets), but I want to know about stuff that was deliberately hidden then found by a MD'er. Thanks again for looking...

And as we all know jeraldo never found Al Capone's Hidden Treasure:rofl::rofl::rofl: Does anybody remember that??? LOL

I found a compact filled with 11 pennies dated from 1914 through 1926. I have seen posts of people finding strong boxes filled with thousands of silver dimes.

Are you a drywaller? I spent 36 years in the trade doing residential and a lot of commercial. Traveled all over the country and helped build a lot of casinos in Vegas and high rises all over. Worked on many military bases and on the facilities for the SR-71 Spy Plane way back before the public ever knew it existed. Yeah I've found some small treaures like a cache of silver with nine Morgan Silver dollars included. But these are few and far between. I've written several hundred treasure stories for the treasure mags over the past 25 years or so.

Yeah I knew he was sucking wind trying to boost his ratings. I grew up in Capone country and he wouldn't leave anything around to get dug up, including bodies.

It's the dream of every treaure hunter but don't waste your time looking and hoping unless you have an exact line on something allegedly buried. People didn't bury stuff so any Yahoo could come along and find it. Stick to coinshooting.

Yeah Mel Fisher found a Spanish Galleon with $425 million aboard but spent 16 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars looking for it plus losing part of his family in the quest.

My Dad was a carpenter. He was doing a re-model on an old hotel that was used by prostitutes. In a wall he found a bunch of empty condom wrappers (not condoms) and an old bag of weed.

When I bought my house I found a coffee can on the top shelf in a cupboard. It was full of modern change. A corner of a baggie was sticking up. It had 8 or 10 silver coins in it. That's the closest I've been to a stash.
