To see just how sensitive it is set it to Pro/zero with full sens. Then wave your empty hand under the coil. Will react to my hand even at 7 bars of sens. I get a pretty solid 41.

Maybe were on to something here . Now that khouse has waved his empty hand under the coil and got a reading 41 . All these coil bashers might want to have there iron count checked. (I didnt really say that did I)

Well, being sensitive enough to detect your hand is a good sign. Might make for a bang-up small gold machine. That's one problem (though solved) I had with some of my other prospecting detectors when testing really small samples. I'll have to dig out my 1 grain sample and give it a go. ..Willy.
