Headed out early this afternoon to hunt a snow hill. We managed another 5 inches of snow last week, so now we are behind another few days before this white mold leaves. I used the 9 x 12 inch coil, as I hope to be concentrating on rings when this snow finally leaves. Here's my first find of the day....a quarter which is beginning to rust. :(

Here's my buddy Scott, who just dug up one of those two dollar coins. And what a surprise! A spider way out far from any exposed dirt. And the little feller was alive....I nudged him with my finger and he tried walking away. Too funny! :)

Below are the finds from today. Not too shabby either.

John I don't think that is rust. I think it is spider poop? There is one sure way to tell. You could always smell it....

Good hunt John.
Our new coins are rusting up as fast as those zincers in the US
Finding lots more of those nowadays !:yikes:
