Just wondering if anyone has combined both? I went out for a while today and threw my line in the river then detected around an old camp site that was right on the river where I was at.

Nope, never done that....It's either one or the other for me....did you catch anything?

I guess you could detect whether the fish you catch have any lures or hooks already in their bellies.

I cought one catfish about a pound and a half. Also found 39 cents and a bunch of pull tabs/bottle caps. Had fun but during warm weather when both things are easier I dont think I could do both well.

Well now, here in Britain at least, anglers and T'Hers have a certain affinity. Most that I know, err to the Right of the political spectrum, hunt and fish, and are into families, beers, grilling, and stringing -up child molesters and muggers who beat up old ladies for thier pension money.
