A friend of mine just bought a swim club that was started in 1956. My buddy Jack and I started to metal detect today while the workers were clearing brush. Before it was a swim club it was an old farm. That might explain the large cent I found [no date]. My question is, is my e-trac at a disadvantage in finding lost jewelry? If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it.
Actually I am very lucky. The owner said he didn't think the club has ever been hunted. My buddy Jack and I have until Memorial Day to hunt this property. Its 16 acres of picnic grounds, volleyball courts and 2 pools, a large snack bar. Plus he said we could metal detect his house [built 1789].

Turns out to be clad city. I have dug 42 coins [2 wheats]. My buddy Jack has dug 81 coins [3 silver dimes]. I am having real trouble pinpointing with my e-trac.
