Detected in France today...

Headed off to France this late morning to detect a farm field and to eat some French fries. There is a big notable difference when you cross that line known as the border, I crossed over at Saarbruecken Germany on Autobahn 6 that leads into Metz France. About 10 miles into France I hit a toll road, about $6.00 for the privilege of driving on their highway. Thought about driving into Metz which is a larger city but I was looking for a farm field and a plate of French Fries or Pommes Frites as they are called. I got of the highway and headed towards a town named Boulay, plenty of farm fields around and I wanted to drive through a few villages just for the culture of it all. The small villages are pretty much black and white, not much color to the houses. I drove into a small village, saw another small village in the distance and another up on a hill and then spotted my field to hunt. Here is the French border, not much and you just drive through.

This must be the Welcome to France sign, unless you are French, I do not think anyone is welcome here, especially Americans, LOL!
