Detected a park with DV here from the board

The three quarters were in the same hole with the bent nail.
The silver dime was in iron trash too. Could only hit it one way.
It was really nice to meet up with DV.
Man, my wrists are sore from digging deep targets in tough soil. Can't believe how deep some of those memorials were.
Not to mention digging my fair share of trash targets just to see what they were. One was a box cutter, the kind that kind of looks long like a knife.

I really love this coil. Even in iron trash you can eek out the coins and other goodies!
Just don't know how deep it ultimately goes yet.

Nice going, Tony. Yes, the hard soil is a problem this time of year. I generally hunt only in the woods this time of year, soil is a bit easier to dig there.

Yes that coil is my new favorite. I dug 9 wheats yesterday in tough soil in another spot I've hunted before. They were 6-8" deep. A few deep clad dimes and memorials from the 60's. I realized the were probably deep due to being in the ground 50 years already. Hard to believe silver has been out of circulation over 50 years already.

I have another 13" coil I'm listing on the classifieds later for my E-Trac detecting buddy who is getting out of the hobby due to age and health problems. He only used it a few hours. I tried it on my SE and it worked the same. No difference between coils.
This coil is a winner for sure.

I like it because it covers a lot more ground but is still sensitive. I just have yet to find a really deep coin with it. I hope I can get my coil over one to see the limits on depth with it.
In my coin garden I have a 9" penny I buried about a month or so ago. It's finally starting to hit is pretty good.
