deta & gamma have been out for 2 yrs under bh name read!

the tek deta and gamma have both been out for two yrs under the bh name the delta was the gold series and the gamma was the platinum
i have used both the . they were sold only by cabelas ( check there web side and you will see them in thire catalog. the deta / gold only got 8" detph and i was not too impressed with it i gave it away, now the platnum / gamma i still have and and i like that and have done well with it depth i was digging 10 to 11" with it i am waiting to get the omaga and try it , it was to be out in nov.08 they must have some problums with iit as still not out, i am trying to get a f-5 coil to put on my gamma/platinum in place of the 8" i belive they are the same as the freq. is the same 7.8 khz dennis in ny

Here are the differences of the BH Platinum and the Teknetics Gamma:

Platinum Static without VDi number, Gamma Motion with VDI number.

Platinum : No, Gamma : Yes ( VL,L,M,H,)

Platinum: Ground Grab no Salt Range, Gamma: Ground Grab and Manuel GB with Salt Range

Platinum No, Gamma Yes

6. Price
Platinum $560, Gamma $499

I have both and the Gamma is a level over the Platinum. The Platinum is not bad either, but it does NOT have all the features of the Gamma.
