Destin report, Friday

Didn't even get to turn the machine on today. The water calmed down a bit later in the day, but the purple flag is out in full force, and so are the jellyfish. I hit 5 different dive shops today looking for a thin wetsuit, but all I have found is the short calf length ones. Why bother to only be partially protected??? I leave here Monday, so not much point mail ordering anything. I hope all who read this are doing better than I. HH Joe
P.S. had to tighten the PP / Disc knob, it had started slipping on the shaft - it was no problem.

This may sound stupid or worse but I recall people using pantie hose to protect themselves from jelly fish in Australia. You could try them out and not report.lol Best to you, Mike

Luckily the jellies have subsided, or I would have to take your advice... or just wear jeans and look like a complete moron...

I use "HotSkins" same as the surf'ers use; so far no man-of-war problem's. Get them at dive shops for around $75 to 100.
