Hi all from Florida..Im sitting here in ana RV park in Destin and wondering where some good places are to MD...Anyone live here that would like to get together..Its kinda hot today but kools later in the ev ening......Bud (here from Missouri)

This is Bud again... Man these beachs have got to be the cleanest in the nation....I have detected three times in the sand and have found very little clad and unfortunatly no gold...I wonder if the beach cleaning machine picks up everything???..Ihave found some buried cans at a foot or so, so I know it doesn"t go that deep....Does that thing sift out coins and jewerly?? Just wondering...Guess I will go back to the beach today and give it another try....I have been looking around the fishing pier at Fort Walton and along the condos area...Have also hunted on beach around scenic 98 where all the condos are......Bud

I always find things in front of hotels and bars in Panama City nver found much in fron of condos

as far as beach cleaning machines I think the only go down 3 or 4 inchies and they do not go near the wayer line

maybe you should try the wet sand
