Winter has had us in it's grasp for the last couple weeks here in Northern Wisconsin. The other night before the snow hit I was desperate to get one more swing in before the snow gets too deep. I hunted around in my yard for a half an hour with my Golden Umax until I got a signal that I was almost possitive was a coin. I sure didn't want to dig through frozen ground for a piece of trash. I finally found a signal that I thought was worth going for. After more than 20 minutes working my shovel through the frozen soil I had my target. It turned out to be a 1967 Washington Quarter. I wish it would have been three years older (Silver) , but I was happy it was a coin and not a piece of trash nonetheless. That just may be my last coin for 2008. It sure felt good to get a little more swinging time in this year. Who knows I may get deperate again and try one last time , but it sure is a struggle digging through the frozen Tundra ( I'm not too far from Green Bay so I figured I could use that term ). For all of you lucky ( and Smart) enough to live in warmer climates - Keep em beepin and Happy Hunting. CoinShooter-Craig
