Desperate attempt proves satisfactory...

In a desperate attempt, I headed out to the grocery store parking lots to look for some loose change in the plowed snow banks. I took a short cut by the high school and was surprised to see the city had been cutting trees along a stream and flattened out the snow in a field. Just perfect! Detected for a little over an hour and calmed the cabin fever. Here
 
Thanks for the "winter fix" Mike. Glad to see you found a place to swing the coil. Finding those keepers should be considered a bonus! Just a quick question...... I certainly recognize that white stuff on the ground. But what is the dark brown stuff? :shrug: Been so long since I saw any dirt, I can't remember for sure what it looks like! :rofl: HH Randy
 
I saw a couple of guys detecting in the snow at Appomatox last Saturday. I admired their ambition. I guess if the snow won't go away, we just need to dig in it.
