while i was out this morning i did a little test,i buried a dime at 8 inches and a quarter at 10...in 3 tone id filter 10 sensitivity 99 i could get the dime clear, vdi was high but good tones,i started losing it a 75 sensitivity...the quarter at 10 inches was loud and clear with perfect id with 99 sens, at 90 it was less repeatable but still said dig me with good id...thought i would share my results!!fyi my soil is mild..

Try lowering ID Filter to 5 or 1 and then see what you get. You already raised the gain/sensitivity and saw the results. Curious if lowering the discrimination filter will help with lower sensitivity settings get the depth to hit those good.
