Probably the best video I have watched on the Apex. The old Aussie showed you exactly what he did when he made any adjustments to the machine and then let you hear what the sounds were. The multi-salt was very quiet in the salt water. It should make a great saltwater machine when they put out a waterproof Apex. Can't wait to see how it reacts to Canadian coins, old and new. Also would like to see if it is able to detect in the hot Virginia soil for a vlf machine.

It reacts to Canadian coins like the AT Series. I previously sent two sets of Canadian coins, one in pristine condition, the other well weathered to Garland. Canadian coins are a real challenge to read. Some detectors just read them as junk. The Apex, for the short time I used it, read the Canadian coins as iron mixed with high tones. High tone spikes in the 70-80's were usually coins. I am looking forward to testing my new upgraded Apex when it arrives.
