Depth reading with small Coil

The depth reading are just a rough estimate that is one reason why we don't see any digital indication such as on some machines. So the answer in my opinion is the depth reading is off period no matter which coil we use so I have never tried to compare them. A coin sized target is about 6" if the bar is at half scale.
