depth question

Can anyone tell me how much depth is lost when switching from the standard coil to the 8 inch coil. I am using the ExpII. I have been using 22 as the sensitivity setting.

That is as far as I know since I have used my 8" Minelab Coil and found a Token at about 8"-9". The primary use for the 8" Coils are for use in trashy area's where the bigger Coils get masked by the Iron and Junk and makes them hard to respond when a good target is close to Iron or Junk. When using the 8" Coil, you will get better seperation of targets but you will not get the ultra deep targets unless of course you dig all the junk signals and then go back over the area with the Stock 10" Coil. Hope this helps and Good Luck and HH.
